When the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950, India became a self-governing country. For this reason 26 January is celebrated with enthusiasm as Republic Day.
The meaning of republic is the power and freedom to all the people of the country to choose their leaders to lead the country in the right direction or field. India is a republic country where the people elect their leaders as a leader, prime minister etc.
The people of India have the right to freedom. Our constitution is one. We are all citizens of India. When we go to another country, we identify as an Indian. Diversity makes our country more beautiful.
Our great freedom fighters have struggled a lot to bring Purna Swaraj in India. Indian freedom fighters did this so that their coming generation does not have to struggle and the new generation can take the country forward.

Today we all have gathered here to celebrate the 75th Republic Day of India. Everyone is celebrating this auspicious occasion of today in their own ways like Central Government, State Governments, Industrial Units, Government Offices, Legal Institutions etc. On this day, there is a Republic Parade at some places and cultural programs are held at some places.
This day is celebrated in all schools. Like them, today we too have gathered in our school to celebrate it with enthusiasm and gaiety. There is a special significance of celebrating this national day in schools. The young children studying in our schools will be the guiding light of India’s future.
If we show the right path to these children only then they will be able to become capable leaders in future. After a long struggle of freedom fighters, we became self-ruled on 26 January 1950. Our new constitution came into force on this day. A lot of development has happened in these 75 years but a lot remains to be done. It is our duty to remove corruption, caste discrimination, negativity, dirt, pollution, diseases and poverty in our country.
If we have to overcome these then we have to unite in which students have an important role. But it is a matter of regret that some of our citizens soon forget the oaths and pledges taken in the schools. These people start getting involved in illegal incidents like fights, looting in the name of caste and religion, we have to avoid these wrong and selfish people and also show them the right path.
For a while, there is only one nation in the whole world whose culture, whose religions, whose races, whose languages, the food, the clothes, the clothes, the animals, whose forests- In animals, in vegetation, in whose soil, in whose mountains and rivers there is so much distinction? And inspite of so many variations, this vast country of ours is one.
When a patriotic song is played, when an accident happens in any corner of the country, don’t we all feel the pain? This happens because we are all children of the same Mother India. Our constitution is one. We are all citizens of India. When we go to another country, we identify as an Indian. Discrimination is what makes our country the most beautiful.

I am very excited to say something about our country on this revered occasion, which is known as Republic Day.
Since 1950, Republic Day is celebrated on 26 January. Today we all are here to celebrate the 73rd Republic Day of our country. The Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950, so we celebrate this day as the Republic Day of India.
However, the constitution was adopted by the constituent assembly on 26 November 1949. On 26 January, India was declared as Purna Swaraj by the Indian National Congress in 1930, hence the 26th Constitution was chosen to implement the Indian Constitution.
Grand arrangements are made by the Government of India in New Delhi on the Rajpath in front of the Indian Gate on Republic Day. Every year the Prime Minister of India is a chief guest to host the Indian flag at Rajpath.
The army, and all the army, participate in the parade to show the culture and tradition of India. We invite the main enthusiasm from other country. This reflects our tradition “Ati Devo Bhava.”
The President of India, who is the head of state of the Indian Armed Forces and the Prime Minister of India, and the Amar Jawan Jyoti pay floral tributes to the sacrificed Indian soldiers at the Indian Gate.

The Constitution of India came into force on this day. Prior to this, India was governed by the Government of India Act, 1935. The Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 and came into force on 26 January 1950.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was the chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee which wrote the Constitution of India. You would be surprised that the Republic Day Parade as we see it today was first held in 1955 and was first held at Rajpath.
From 1950 to 1954, Republic Day celebrations were organized at various places like Red Fort, Ramlila Maidan, Kingsway Camp and Irwin Stadium.
Doctor. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of India to hoist the Indian tricolor at the Republic Day parade at Rajpath on January 26, 1950.
It was the same year that the President’s house was renamed “Rashtrapati Bhavan”. The Republic Day parade in India is held at Rajpath, New Delhi every year with the President of India, with international guest of honour, presiding.

It was because of our great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose and many more who fought and sacrificed for the freedom of our country.
Constitution of India Dr. Drafted by the drafting committee headed by Babasaheb Ambedkar and it came into force on 26 January 1950, since then we celebrate this day every year as Republic Day.

After a long story, on 15 August 1997, India wiped out the scourge of slavery and on 26 January 1950 concluded the Republic of India. Today we are living in the world’s largest democracy among all the countries of the world. India’s Sunita Williams is making our name bright by going to space. We are a nuclear rich country. Our Indian Army is one of the best armies in the world.
But still our republic is incomplete in many areas. “Have the martyrs dreamed of such an incomplete India.” No, put your hand on your heart and ask, is the country free? Whether you believe it or not, the truth is that today festivals like Republic Day are just a formality.
What kind of a republic is this where crores of people do not even get a hut to live in and on the other hand some people live in a big attic. Hoisting the flag will not bring a real republic, only singing Jana Gana Mana will not bring a real republic. Every person has to be honest about his duty, then only real republic will come.
On 23 March 1931, at the age of 23, when preparations were being made to hang Sardar Bhagat Singh, his mother went to jail for the last meeting with her son. Sardar Bhagat Singh saw that the mother had tears in her eyes. Then he asked – O mother, why are you crying? I am hardly dying by hanging on to the gallows.
Then mother Vidhavati said to her son Bhagat Singh – I am crying because you are going to die by hanging. I am crying because if my womb had produced another son like you, I would have sacrificed his life for Mother India.
In today’s arrogant occasion, what is needed is that we should light the lamp of self-confidence on the mount of our mind. Only then we will get the destination of true freedom and the destination is attained by those who have life in their dreams, nothing happens by having wings, flying with enthusiasm.
Let us grow crops of honesty on this barren land in the remaining days of life and play a selfless participation in the development of our country.
